Cooking with Cast Iron

 Oven Baked Chicken Wings
Lodge skillet I received as a wedding gift, almost 28 yrs ago

Fried squash and they're edible.  I have the most difficult time frying squash and okra.
Paula Deen's Hoe Cake Pan and Le Creuset Oval Au Gratin Dish

 Butter Peas (my favorite)
Lodge Cast Iron

Cast Iron and Cast Enamel are my go to pots and pans.

Happy Cooking!

Yummy. Speaking of Le Creuset. I returned a second piece of their cookware a few weeks ago and they replaced it, no questions asked. It was a skillet and the coating on the cooling surface had started peeling off. Anyway, I couldn't be happier with how they've treated me. Twice!

That should say the COOKING surface.

I agree. I love cooking with both types of pans. Those wings look great!

Would you mind sharing your recipe for the wings made in the oven? I think we would like those!

Paula, I'm one of those cooks that adds a little of this and a little of that. I can't give you the measurements of the spices I used. Paprika, Nature's Blend, Garlic Pwd, S&P, and Basil.

Wow, all that food looks so delicious. And the cookware is beautiful! I've never been able to get fried squash just right. Mine always comes out mushy.
